I think this was actually Ty Beard's main issue. He was used to transactional inter-company things, where litigation was just part of the process, and the way to resolve the business issues was to basically do business.And with commercial leases it's almost common; I've known two people, good friends, hang out once a month or so, whose companies were suing each other over some fucking lease bullshit - no matter the outcome of the issue they'd still be friends and likely still be renting.
Companies make weird shit happen; residential nope the fuck out ASAP.
He was simply not prepared for litigation where the opposing parties were fueled by fanatical hatred rather than getting a better deal.
