i'm surprised people repeat the same actions over and over and expect a different outcome, but i shouldn't

there are people who think TV and movies are a 100% real reflection of life, and that by labeling themselves the 'right side' they'll win in the end. WERE THE GOOD GUYS *plays the imperial death march on a kazoo* WERE PROGRESSIVE *makes harry potter reference* WE WILL WIN!!!!!1!

it's an unfortunate side effect when stupid people like them do the same thing over and over
people like me point it out over and over. although to be frank, this isn't deep. i feel like i'm stating the obvious at this point, and maybe i'll refrain from point this out in the future.
