Funny you should mention Randi as Rebecca Watson first came to prominence on the Randi Foundation boards.
She was given Admin privileges and immediately banned everyone who had disagreed with her, which led to her banning.
She went on to set up Skepchick and was a driving force behind Atheism+, who tried to insert themselves back into the Randi Foundation. The Randi Foundation shut down their conference "T.A.M" because it was to much arse-ache dealing with the cunts.

His tv show for one, for two, most episodes were pretty good, but there were a few that were, themselves, Bullshit.

And James Randi's deal wasn't actually Anti-Christian or really Anti-Religion. He held those views, but that was not why he did what he did. He did what he did because he was absolutely disgusted with how con men were abusing the trust of gullible people, and a few ministers were engaging heavily in that. Eventually he just became disgusted with gullible people. Hard to blame him.

Although hearing the Randi Foundation giving no fucks and throwing the fuckers out warms me with joy. Did the people she banned get unbanned?

As I remember the story, they couldn't work out who she'd banned and who had been banned for being a legitimate dickwad, so they had to allow everyone banned during her brief stint as an Admin back in.

To add to the fiasco, she was never supposed to have admin privileges. Her account had been suspended for being an overweening twat and when the suspension was lifted she was accidentally logged as an Admin.

If there's one thing to be said about Sargon, it's that he at the very least occasionally brings up feminist philosophy. The majority of the skeptic community seems to be just to locate some random dumb Feminist, Christian, Muslim or whatever and make some basic refutations against the lowest hanging fruit they can find and then pat themselves on the back for being so smart.

It's very rare to see anyone in the community actually attempt to refute any decently respected philosophy or theology.
