Then, rather than taking the L and stopping, he realized bashir was uncomfortable with him(an obviously gay man) reading the bible in an ironic accent, and started doing it to bother bashir, which ended up making him actually blaspheme Christ and not only look gay and reddit, but actually pissed off Bashir and made him stand by as a woman he clearly also hates hassled him off the show.

I really hope that someday we can put together a model of what actually happened in JD’s social life. I think this is a bias of our examples of Islam being seen as terrorists or peak sharia law when lots of Muslims are just...people. While I do not condone the behavior of many Islamic governments or practitioners (note: many of these practices were local practices before the adoption of Islam such as female circumcision in Africa), a lot of our view is Jewishly biased so that Israel can blow up schools and hospitals (which are totally military bases!!!) and that we can have forever wars.

Maybe they're still backwards by Western standards. But I think it's a false flag to instantly say someone (especially an Americanized someone) is inherently a bad person because of their religion. I'm sure there's a real term for it, but since I've started watching Fishtank, I noticed it causes a lot of people I've talked to about it to have what I call "BossmanJack syndrome".
