They are the most technologically advanced of all Elder Gods combined; and because they were split components of Susanoo because he rejects the Elder Gods' iron fists. They have a fraction of Susanoo's powers, but attained their own willpower and high divinity role. Raiden and Fujin were based from Christopher Lambert's Raiden; and although Raiden can be a bit domineering, extremely snarky, sardonic, wisebreaking, headstrong, independent at times; he's actually a really cool, tactless and collected individual who has a knack for unpredictable and surreal humor that only he and Fujin understand, and is actually just a really nice, sweet and benevolent God of Thunder if you're an ally within his squad. He is the big fucking boss of the entire gods lineage along with Fujin.

Also, both brothers are proficient mecha pilots and are incredibly tech-savvy. Raiden and Fujin also loves playing DOOM during the Tournament to kill the boredom in Outworld, the works. Raiden also has a sweet tooth; and both bros have insanely high spice tolerance and like experimenting on tinkering with plain dave stuff to run DOOM on there. A simple heel click from both bros would make anyone but their worst enemies bow down to the might of Susanoo's fragments. Their favorite off-duty hobby is drawing, fixing phones, tablets, PCs and laptops, building Gunpla, hosting tea ceremonies, hanging out with Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, etc.... and their allies and sneak out from duties to play in any arcade. They have their personal favorite Sukajan jacket hanged in their closet, and when Raiden's feeling like covering his hair, he wore a backwards cap and tie his hair low.

(Fun fact: They own 2 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10Rs, and many more motorcycles from Honda/Yamaha/Kawasaki (because both of them are JAPANESE STEEL) and that car that Raiden drives in Motor Kombat, and about 10 Toyota/Lexus models.)
