I think she's 19, iirc. They throw around the term "pedophilia" for pretty much everything because they know how despised pedophilia is, and that most people will see that word, and not even question how it's being used. And they're so inconsistent about young adults, because if it's like an 18-year-old and a 20-year-old, they talk about how 18 "isn't mentally an adult yet!", and how they "don't know any better" and "can't be trusted to make decisions for themselves" (wait, then why should we listen to anything you little jackasses have to say about social issues?), but if they're dating a 17-year-old, they're "and ADULT!" and a "predator" and "should know better!".
These people need to go the hell outside and interact with real people instead of being so damn obsessed with video games and cartoons.

You'll notice a double standard among a lot of the people who cry pedo ship - most of them are the same people that believe D.va is a lesbian and are fine with her being shipped with almost any female character.

If someone is creeping you deliberately giving you the creeps by playing high resolution gore games with the sound turned right up, then I do believe that at the very least you're dealing with a massive dick who's got a wide streak of sadism in him. :powerlevel: Thing is though, that the gentlest person I've ever known was a Creationist Christian, and she loved violent games. Know why? It's because she pointed the nasty streak that all humans have at the computer screen, let it run around a bit for some exercise, and then reeled it back in and resumed her life as one of the best people I've ever had the privilege to meet. Yeah, Creationism and all that, but still.
If someone is playing a rape game then absolutely I back away quickly, and if someone has an entire shelf full of gore games and a Steam log to the tune of thousands of hours likewise, but deliberately over the top shit like this? In small doses it's actually healthy. You've had an awful day, you get home and shoot zombies for an hour or two. You get it out of your system and move on, have dinner and go to bed.
