If you read the announcement, it said that mods not in compliance would be notified and have 30 days to become compliant before reddit admins just started taking them off of mod lists until they were compliant. Presumably they're in that period, but also reddit is super incompetent so who knows.

Back in the day /r/all was a great way to find the hottest content on the site and find new interesting subreddits. Searching /r/all got me a few small threads of people mad about this many from weeks and months ago, but I don't think very many people used /r/all at all. Crazy how they just gave up on a core feature of a link aggregator because it's been botted to uselessness.

The biggest seems to be this /r/technology thread from 1 day ago in which they complain that this is somehow helping botters (?) when you just have your feed of subreddits you subscribe to. Some people think that /r/all kept them out of echo chambers (lmao) as if all of reddit isn't an echo chamber. I think redditors are too dumb to understand reddit.

Funnily enough, if each subreddit actually had enough fucking moderators instead of getting an autistic tranny power janny assigned to them then they could actually build a *shock* community.

There's absolutely no reason why subreddits couldn't just exist like the old forums of yore. Did people get banned simply for being a new member? Rarely, but that was usually down to a delusional mod thinking anyone new was obviously a ban evading old member.

Reddit mods want to have their cake and eat it. They want to be the big head mods of a bustling community but actively encourage a very linear type of thinking across the subreddit to the point where subreddit simulator is 100% nailed on.

Reddit had the golden opportunity to boot these faggots off reddit for good when they orchestrated the 'blackout' but got cold feet about it. Now it really doesn't fucking matter what reddit says it's going to do because jannies will just stomp their manly feet in heels and say "no" and reddit will cave.

Really though, look back at the timeline. Gamergate was what, 14ish years ago? And troons have been doing their troon shit since before that, that I’m aware of.
