As you said the way he flipped being banned off Magic into the career he had was 99% luck. I'm not gonna pretend like he didn't have any "talent" because to know which grift to jump to and to keep at it definitely requires something. But the circumstance surrounding his rise played an enormous part in his success and ability to grift as hard as he did. Right place, right time and for the type of low effort slop he specialized in making, it was literally a time and place that can't just easily be recreated now.
Real edgy content creators were banned so competition is out the window - check.
People were sick of social justice weirdos forcing shit into their hobbies/content - check.
Youtube becoming more popular and rewarding 10 minute reading news story slop videos instead of long form content - check.
Trump's rise (while more serious conservative voices were deplatformed) basically gifting him an audience - check.
Now that the surrounding environment is removed, Jer has no clue what to do. The culture war isn't dead, but people aren't voiceless anymore against the woke Hollywood machine/agenda. It has been dialed back a lot in recent years once these companies saw the backlash and on top of that, a lot of people just stopped consuming that shit, so they're not angry about it anymore, they found alternative forms of entertainment. Trump won, twice. Crying about the Democrats only goes so far when they're out of office. Especially when you're not really that political at heart.
He has no actual convictions, so he can't pivot hardcore into being a "real" conservative streamer. Jer's political views amount to "I wish shit was like it was when I could say whatever I wanted on xbox live and the rabbit in Space Jam was hotter" - that shit only goes so far. Most libertarians I knew (I'm about 10 years younger than Jer) were just closet conservatives (or age of consent weirdos) when I was in my 20s. Most of them just came out as full conservative once it became more acceptable.
Even the successful conservative grifters I've noticed have found a way to flip on Trump now. Probably because they have some values at their core. I think most people are against war if it can be avoided for example. Jer? Who gives a fuck, whatever Trump says goes. That's all he knows. Trump brought him to the dance and he's gonna go down with the ship because he literally has no opinions or values to criticize him on. And even if he just agrees with the administration on literally everything, fine, but good luck grifting on that. "We won and everything is awesome" doesn't drive clicks.
But Jer isn't really a conservative anyway. We see that with all his weird sex shit. He's literally just a man child. He has no family values. He has no religious values. He really only worships being able to buy his latest toys and gadgets that he gets tired of in a few months/weeks/days/hours. The duration of the dopamine hit he gets from buying shit is probably rapidly on the decline, especially when he has the pressures of the money running out in the back of his mind.

He's just a fat talentless oaf. He has somehow found a way to make a job that should have very little overhead have an insane amount with trying to be Tim Pool or Ben Shapiro and paying multiple people. Even those two appear to be struggling these days, but at least they were bringing in way more money to begin with/or have some kind of capital behind them in the first place.
Jer's whole schtick too is like "go woke go broke, libtards" and he sells himself as some super successful rich dude now. So he cannot publicly cut back on this shit. He needs his mansion and his Cyber Truck to own the libs, it's a part of his persona. He clearly can't afford it anymore though. He should sell it all off, go back to basics with a single employee to edit his videos because he's apparently too fucking lazy to do it himself and a camera. He won't though at least until the money is literally gone.
He cannot admit defeat. It doesn't help he has a bunch of vices and clearly doesn't think straight either. He has gone back and forth on what type of content "people want" like 10 times in the past 4 months. He gets an idea and starts talking big when he's drunk and then reality sets in. The truth is he has no fucking clue, he's not a genius. He's a lucky a fuck whose luck has run out and he's too fucking stupid to have made the most of the times when the getting was good. Even without Warski and PPP on his ass, he was on a serious decline, they've just hit the fast forward button for him and it's got him scrambling even more, he has no fucking clue what to do and it's so entertaining. Too bad he can't monetize that for himself, but at least someone is.

I confess that the Hambling segments are main event on kino casino for me. I had zero awareness of him before they started dissecting him either, but it’s endlessly entertaining to watch his decline, and the suffering of the women.. He never deserved to be successful, he was not smart with the windfall and now it’s over and all downhill from here.
