Anyway, way back in 2019, I had heard about an indie game in development called Street Uni X.


It was inspired by Tony Hawk Pro Skater and extreme sports game in that nature, particularly from the PS1 era. Now remember, at the time (and currently as well lol) the Tony Hawk games were effectively dead, so I was interested in smaller developers attempts at it. Really I'm interested in most indie games that aren't yet another 2D platformer or Metroidvania...

At this point I think pooners are more likely to make something actually provocative, troon devs are too busy gooning to be creative. Can't wait for a WPD and Postal (and maybe Columbine why not) themed shooter!

Hon doesn't pass even with four whole facial polygons.
It's sad, too; "extreme pro unicycling" is something that would've been one of those prototypical weird indie games like Enviro-Bear 2000 that would've blew up a decade ago. Now the same autist who'd make a decent game is a tranny instead, and therefore very unlikely to make anything that he can't goon to.

I guess something unique about the game is that it has it's own control scheme that's different from the Tony Hawk games (for example in THPS you use Triangle to grind, in this game it's the left and right bumpers since on a unicycle you use the pegs and it only works if you press the side where the rail lines up). It's a little bit quirky, but it's at least trying to match how a unicycle feels.

This guy does a bit better job explaining how it feels

For me the game is just ultra glazed (like hollow Knight, Kojima levels of ultra glazed) because people are just retarted and unique/quirky = good also it also doesn't help that Max0r made a video on It so now all of his 70iq fans brainrotted have to also glaze the game.

To be fair, the Indie scene has been this way for longer than New Blood's existence, it's always been a very clique place that puts reputation in front of everything, in a way you can compare it to Twitch as you need to maximize your connections and collabs to pool in as many players as you possibly can.

tbh i don't get why people glaze Cruelty Squad so much beyond the whole thing of "corporations mad" and "lolsorandumb worldbuilding". I'd say it's in part the creator (who is a massive retard who praised someone that recreated Charlie Kirk's murder in his game btw) and some of the more unique quirky mechanics.

Which reminds me that it's not surprising the game has troon fans since it involves body modification.

Synth man comes from the top of my head and after a while he becomes pretty tiresome with his constant doom and gloom over games being bad and made by retards. I wish he did like when he played Farcry 2 and really liked it and compared old games to modern slop. But i guess positive shit doesn't drive enough engagement
