This doesn't explain him growing his hair out or wearing makeup. Even the fact that he actually went to a website for his tomgirl side is indication enough that it's deliberate. Clearly transvestite territory.

There is a difference between a transvestite and a crossdresser. As far as I understand crossdresser is a neutral term that implies a male-identified person who occasionally dresses as a woman. If there is some sexual element or kinky element to it then I believe it is within the realm of transvestite. Transvestite is sorta an archaic term now I think, though I think it fits him.

She kicked it off, but it fit all of Chris' requirements for a solution to his man-hating. It gives him a way to feel like he's his cherished female gender, not a disgusting dewd. He can hate on men all he wants now. Or mostly, anyway. He still can't get around obvious signs he's a male, like his dick.

Nah, he's not transgender. His thoughts are very male. He's just, again, a man who hates men, because he's childish and angry. Basically, I don't think there's anything physical, in his biology prompting this. If Chris was happier in life, he wouldn't feel the drive to be a tomgirl nearly as much.

Eh, yeah, it's more that transvestite is an archaic term. People didn't understand the motivations of crossdressing that well until more modern times. But really, I don't see a substantial difference between transvestite and crossdresser. Like, if there's not a sexual element or a kinky element to crossdressing, then I have no clue what motivation would be left. I mean, if a CEO wears ladies panties under his business suit.. and there's not some sort of kink to it, then, why's he doing it? Is it just that it feels soft and nice? Y'know, they make silk briefs for men too...

Edit: Or well, there's also crossdressing for comedy purposes. I guess that's an instance of crossdressing that I wouldn't call transvestism.

Dresses were originally worn by boys as were high heels. Pink was also a color associated with newborn male children.

Wearing a dress doesn't may Chris gay, or transgender. He is just old-fashioned like his parents. He is trying to bring sexy back.

Transvestites fall under the transgender umbrella but they aren't considered authentic persons trapped in the wrong gender, more of an escapism I think, or a fetish. Considering how stupid CWC is, I don't think we could really know why he does what he does, even if he told us.

"Transgender" is an umbrella term that covers crossdressing as well as transsexualism and intersex. It doesn't require that you do it for certain reasons or that your thoughts be anything, so long as your gender identity, gender expression, or biological sex don't match up with each other, you fit under the definition of transgender.

Edit: Or, well, I guess "gender" doesn't mean much to me. Sex and gender are overlapping to me. Until, of course, you've actually got mental problems.

Not like Chris would even understand or identify as transgender anyway. Its why we have the term "tomgirl", after all. Words mean whatever he wants them to
