Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

I think it's overlooked in Christian circles because it's less expressly "religious," as the Jews in question were fairly deeply assimilated into a different culture and we don't see God talking directly or through a prophet. It had some baller illustrations in the Bible Story Books I read as a kid, though.
She's also the hottest VeggieTales character.

Two gunmen have been killed and a police officer injured after opening fire on the Israeli consulate in Turkey. Pretty retarded way to die judging by the fact that Israel evacuated everyone long ago because Turkey are massive Hamas & Iran supporters and any Jew in sight would've been lynched long ago, they're shooting at pretty much only other Turks.

Yediot Ahronot report that the consulate has been empty of jooz for 2 and a half years :sighduck:

It seems the impotent elected government is starting to grow as exasperated by the IRGC as we are. Even after their ground troops are running out of food, money, and living quarters, they still refuse any sort of tenable deal in favor of their "muh Strait tolling muh reparations" bullshit.

There is obviously arguments to be made about limiting some things in war, certain kinds of weapons, not intentionally bombing civilians (as in specifically targeting them, not collateral damage) etc.
"Should we raze the peasantry until it directly or indirectly raises our monarch to the throne of France as well as England" vs "Do these little shits that want to toss stones at their Great Satan deserve to have a power grid any longer?"

IDF Quadcopter belonging to the 226th Paratroopers Brigade strikes a Hezbollah fighter on a motorcycle on the western front.

Instead of hitting bridges and power plants, why aren't we just directly targeting their weapons, vehicles, bases, and so on?
  1. They already are but
  2. the more they destroy the fewer there are left to hit which makes it more difficult to find them and
  3. Iran intentionally designed its military around being able to hide by moving or putting everything in bunkers.
  4. Also, if the means of producing weapons aren't destroyed, Iran can simply make more.
  5. Destroying Iran's economy means they can't buy more weapons.
  6. Destroying Iran's transportation infrastructure means they can't import or transport more weapons.
  7. Also, bridges, railroads, power plants and other fixed infrastructure are in known locations and can't be hidden or moved.
  8. Finally, destroying the economy of Iran means removing all means the IRCG and Islamic Republic leadership have to resist.

It's going to be an interesting day, I think, regardless of what happens.
Youtube video kinda related, possibly.
The algo not giving you Act on Instinct. Very sad.

We seek to conquer their infrastructure so that we can command their geography. Now excuse me while I watch the next tiberium harvester unload.

It's not simple stubbornness and delusion on their part, it's core to their strategy.
Pardon the wall of text, I chose to go by "verbal Diarrhea" because I can't help myself.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is a revolutionary country whose ethos is built on two foundations: (never mind nuances and precise details, all that matters for an ethos is what the people tell themselves about themselves)

1. The people of Iran overthrew the western puppet despot and are now their own masters

Like any government born of revolution (USSR, The first French Republic and so on) they expect the old order to try and squash them sooner or later.
So like every revolutionary government, they want to do three things as quickly as possible at all costs.
  1. Establish internal cohesion (or at least the appearance of one) -- You can't built something new very quickly while people are bickering, protesting or god forbid oppose you.
So a revolutionary government will do everything it can to get everyone on the same page. This means propaganda, (re)education and internal security units whose job it is to root out any reactionary elements.
  2. Become too strong to mess with -- self-explanatory, you need an army that can resist the return of the powers that be at least to some degree.
If you can't form a peer army, your other option is min-maxing your army to counter the powers that be.
You don't need to be as strong or stronger, you just need to be strong enough that it's not worth the trouble.
  3. Get some allies -- The powers that be were almost certainly not a single country, but a clique of global powers that are in at least a tacit agreement to cooperate to maintain their clique's global mastery.
A single country - no matter how industrious, capable, innovative or rich - can't stand against an established group of hegemons. (the many Napoleonic Wars come to mind)
So you need friends. One small problem though, odds are most countries around you are in the pocket of this global power clique, just as you were before your revolution.
But they can be made to see the truth, just as you has, all you need to do is export the revolution.
A consequence of that would be that you would become a regional hegemon yourself, but being an overlord is a small price to pay for the revolution.

2. The Republic of Iran is a Shiite country, standing as a leader and defender of Shiites everywhere and Shia in and of itself.

As a minority group is a region that loves its race wars, the shiites were an oppressed group at the mercy of their host countries. (sound familiar?)
As a result, their ethos heavily emphasizes that given the chance, the other groups would come for them (SOUND FAMILIAR??) and that Iran is not just a defender of the Shiite people, but all that stands between all Shiites everywhere and every other group's desire to exterminate them, as they did again and again throughout history (DO YOU GET IT YET??)

The ethos that forms from these two points is reflected perfectly by Iran's strategy, this war they're in is the war they prepared for from the day the Shah GTFO and is the war their armed forces is designed around.
The fact they're as belligerent as they are and are seemingly content to dive head-first into oblivion is the result of pillar 1, in particular the being too strong to mess with bit.
The image they're trying to project is that they can dish out pain to America (through its "proxies" and by hurting the western world in general) indefinitely and that nothing America or Israel does can bring Iran to its knees.
Is this true? FUCK no, but the whole strategy is to outlast America's patience, and they can do it by projecting that they're not going anywhere and they can make it hurt for as long as America keeps trying.
And that rhetoric is VERY effective on the populace of democratic countries for whom war is a distant thing they hear about on the news sometimes.

The second ethos is why Iran is willing to sacrifice so much to keep up this appearance.
They believe their own narrative that they're a Shia bulwark against the inevitable Shia genocide, and that without them they would immediately be persecuted and killed. It's their own little armageddon war, it's all or nothing.
The parallel might give the average Iranian a stroke, but it's so reminiscent of Israel's ethos it's funny.
Of course, this "it's either us or we're all dead" belief is coincidentally what keeps the people in charge of Iran in charge.
But that's the beauty of the bullshit people tell themselves, the most believable one is the one you're most comfortable with. Case and point; Napoleon installing liberal-republican constitutions in other countries even after proclaiming himself Emperor.

Plane-monitoring spergs are just barely above pizza/gay bar-monitoring spergs, but still kinda eyebrow-raising.

As someone who monitors flight traffic I can tell you this doesn't mean anything. This is like when Skyking threads would be posted on /pol/ back in the day when someone would notice more than one E-6 flying. Now if you see the E-4 take off and it, as well as every other US military aircraft, turn off its transponder then you need to get in your bunker. Don't worry, if nuclear armageddon starts I'll be posting updates until I'm vaporized.

Negotiators doubt Iran will meet President Trump’s deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, increasing the likelihood of U.S. strikes on key infrastructure, according to WSJ.

➡️ Iranian officials told mediators they expect the U.S. and Israel to continue military action even if talks progress, citing past patterns.

➡️ Diplomacy is being led by JD Vance, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner, with Egypt, Turkey, and Pakistan relaying messages, while decisions in Tehran are routed through the Supreme National Security Council and IRGC chief Ahmed Vahidi.

North Korea is quietly distancing itself from Iran during the war in what South Korean intelligence describes as an effort to keep the door open to improved ties with the U.S.

➡️ Seoul’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) noted that Pyongyang has not provided military aid to Iran, issued no condolences after the death of Ali Khamenei, and did not acknowledge his successor, Mojtaba Khamenei.

➡️ Its public messaging has also been notably restrained, avoiding direct criticism of President Trump.

➡️ The NIS says all of this reflects a broader strategy by Kim Jong-un to create new diplomatic space.

📝Notably, in late February, Kim signaled an openness to renewed engagement with Washington, saying there was “no reason” the country could not maintain a workable relationship with the United States.

Islamic Republic Regime's organizational structure after 37 days of US and Israeli strikes as of April 6th, 2026 by HeKasrehCrisis. Should be noted that the most affected and largely most damaged sector of the Regime are the key members of the Islamic Republic's Nuclear Program (AMAD Project) and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps leadership. As noted by some, the leadership of the Iranian Regular Military (Artesh) is untouched as now, so is the Guardian Council

Pezeshkian is such a bitch. That's the reason why i don't care much about "hopes fading" for negotiations. They need ceasefire way more than we do. They may act tough in front of shitskins, but i trust Vance.
