Its so fucking bizarre seeing him interact with other people because he's so fucking out there. He's like a tinfoil hat theorist compared to them. They're just talking normally and he's in Kim Jong Un detractor mode, and his shit doesnt make sense, it's just so far gone.

The only way DSP Tries It is ever even remotely watchable is with Snort Burnell's Devour DEVOUR sound bites and even then it's really just to marvel at how gross watching someone like Phil eat is.

Today's the first day of his time off and I'm genuinely curious what he's going to get up to. He said that we shouldn't be surprised if we go days without hearing from him but in my opinion if he's not providing us with constant updates on Instagram and Twitter about his mundane life then he's up to something suspicious that he specifically doesn't want us to know about but I'd say that's unlikely to happen.

In his pre-stream last night, he did say today he was going to research if he could contact a company in Connecticut to help him lease out his condo to somebody to save some costs. If he's successful in that, it will be one of the most clever things he's done in ages.

I've been wondering why he doesn't do something with his khando in CT. To Phil's credit it's not like he's bragging about owning two properties. If he could rent out his place in CT it could help him out a great deal financially. If he's lucky the income he collects from the khando could be enough to cover most if not all of his monthly payments on the place.

Politics is something Phil should avoid like the plague, yet here and there he gives us some glimpses of his ideas. When he was playing Wolfenstein The Old Blood, in a rare event where he didn't do his basic commentary shit (e.g. repeating what just happened and various pig noises) he was talking about Hitler and about the people back then who voted for him etc. He said he could imagine living in a fascist system. That's because that is a system where he benefits at first. But soon he would have been forced into a lifestyle that is completely different to his own. There would be no SS Lets Players in a fascist world, and with Phil being unproductive, unhealthy and a burden to the society he would find himself removed from said society.
Those were cringeworthy ten minutes he rambled about it. Basically every time Phil talks about politics something dies inside his listeners.

As for literature, I haven't seen any books during his house tours. He may have had some artbooks or graphic novels but that's it. Phil isn't the Catcher in the Rye-type anyways.

Culture is also a small topic in Phil's life. Back when he had his full-time girlfriend they could have visited all sorts of places in Seattle. And then visited a zoo, the arcade hall, and a restaurant that serves lobster. On the other hand he reviewed a twinkie like he was some fast-food connaisseur.

I understand why a streamer would choose to not answer any questions where their opinion may be controversial. Usually they'll respond to a question by saying "Let's not talk about that right now" or they'll have a rule that says No Politics In Chat, but Phil's response whenever he gets a question that isn't about video games or food is "I don't care. I'm only here to play video games." THAT'S not even true anymore.

His entire life is four things: Money, food, games, and wrestling. He's only passionate about money. He doesn't care enough about food to make anything interesting for himself, he hasn't cared about video games in years, and you could argue that he cares about wrestling since he has a ton of opinions about it but he doesn't have a single opinion that's interesting, unique, or controversial.

I wouldn't say that Phil lives with only his base desires, I'd say he's just a boring person.

This is a depression thing, I believe. Not to humanize him but it's like living a joyless existence. Everything is baseline neutral, at best. It's hard to describe. I've also read that scientists have said that depression makes you stupid, it changes your brain I guess, and lowers your IQ. So he's got that going for him.

I believe it's because in his mind, the benefits of using a tripod are outweighed by the effort he'd have to put in to set up and take down the tripod. Phil wants as much lay around time as possible, so the minute it takes to set up and take down the tripod could be better used binge watching Amazon Video.

Well there goes the whole 'I'm probably not going to be posting on social media much during my time off,' rhetoric already. It's like he can't resist bragging about doing something as vigorous and as important as actually cleaning his house for once.

Phil is annoying not only because he has to show off any time some positive happens, but also because half of the time, the things he's bragging about, like cleaning or making food, are things most of us do without mentioning it every single day.
