I'm really torn on this... It's almost like Sophie's choice for me....

I kinda want someone to buy Chris' "art" at that price it so that he'll become encouraged by this one success, immediately spend the money on junk, then produce tons of new "art" and list it for even more ridiculous prices -- leading to months of productive opportunities for new sagas.

On the other hand, I don't think he deserves that kind of money for crapping out a dirty scribble onto printer paper, and I would really hate to see him get what he wants (In this case, "what he wants" is defined as "the absolute worst thing for him").

Bahahaha

I sent him a message:

"$5000 is very expensive for a picture. Does this ship with Christian Weston Chandler or is $5000 solely for the picture and the frame?"

"I am not included personally with the purchase"
I was going to say that's pretty ween, but if he actually responded with that then you lucked out and it's pretty funny.

I like how Chris isn't going to win this in any way, shape, or form. $2,500 asking price and he's probably going to get a bunch of troll offers, not to mention getting his auction taken down constantly.

I saw that! Even at $2,500 this is getting to be a new low for Chris...I cannot believe that he actually thinks that somebody would pay him that much for a piece of art that is A. shitty, B. Made by the BIGGEST lolcow on the internet, and C. A rip off of two already existing copyrighted characters! I really hope this becomes another saga

You know, every time I see the word fresh in his E-Bay description, I think of the artist Piero Manzoni. Manzoni was infamously known for his shock art piece titled, "Artist's Shit"where he sold gold tinned cans that were supposedly filled with his excrement. He claimed thst he could sell art that was equal to the net weight in gold. He made off like a thief in 1961 where he sold his first can for 124,000£. The can itself had a description that read: "Artist's Shit/30 grams per net/Freshly canned/Produced and tinned in May 1961".

Chris could learn a thing or two from shitty artists.

The best offer is accepted. Don't know what's gonna happen after that.

(Sorry, I don't use eBay so I don't really know about this eBay stuff)

He accepted a best offer. So... he sold it. CWC made money. Is this a win or a loss for the world? You decide!

If Chris can continue to draw Sonichu material including the comics and sell them for now, I consider it a win. Chris gets the money for his family while we can get new Sonichu material. A win-win.

Just to let you know, the accepted price is $1000, probably about one-third of Chris's LEGO wish-list.

I foresee that CWC will start drawing things from request. Graphic nasty stuff to get more money. After that he might turn to video requests.... This could end badly. Brace yourself for the beginning of a new saga.

Basically the old Chris, but new behaviour and comes with a price.

Its the "Fatman" model. You beg for money to do stupid things on camera (in Fatman's case eat something disgusting) and then claim to retire only to come back when the money (or prospect of legos) appears again.
