I had this weird feeling way back when that either Vic would win or the localizer industry would go down in flames. Obviously, I dismissed that feeling as stupid. Imagine my surprise when I saw Japan fighting back against woke localizations, politicians talking about the voice actors, voice actor strikes getting mocked by the fans (as well as recasts) and even FUNIMATION going down! A feeling I had dismissed as juvenile was proven right!
Honestly, the whole thing has been pretty amazing! The VAs had one power trip where they decided to take advantage of #MeToo and it cascaded in destroying the fan good will everyone had for them.

It's dead BT and rightfully so. Perhaps if you were vocal about the problems surrounding Funimation (such as the line changes in anime dubs like Dragon Maid) instead of being a simp for the voice actors and denying that there was anything wrong maybe they would still be here.
But who am I kidding, you'll simp for Crunchyroll (fully owned by Sony) now and gobble up any dub they produce.

So Vic pretty much goes go any pop culture type convention with little to no push back, and has for several years now. However, any time a convention is anime related, the same gate keepers come out to show their angry eyes. Ranger Stop Atlanta just announce Vic as a guest and it is the same group comes out to try and get him canceled.

The same list of angry eyes always show up because the comments are turned off.
The announcement post on Facebook turned off the comments, so all the loony gate keepers had to log into Facebook for the first time in years just to leave their angry faces (since Instagram doesn't have that option). It's almost like they have someone pointing them to show up angry. Oh wait they do.

7 years. 7 years and she still can't move on. 7 years and still not one single charge against him. It is the only way she gets any attention. And she is still trying to put pressure on other guest to cancel (part of the above thread).
Imagine this being the peak of your life. No one would care at all about Vic attending any convention that is Anime related, but the gate keepers are still at it. I have no doubt that Neil will cancel his appearance with some kind of vague "scheduling conflict" because I'm sure any contract he would have signed will not allow him to back out with a "Vic man bad" clause.
Since Ranger Stop Atlanta disabled comments on their announcement about Vic attending, I’m hopeful they won’t be swayed by online backlash or attempts to get him canceled. If they stick with their decision, this could end up being a turning point.

There was a fan's post here, someone I knew of that I was unfortunately associated with, they claimed that they did not fake lupus on the internet. I'm here to say if anyone knows about that situation, you were right. He was faking for money and fame.

There were some accusation floated around just after everything blew up with Vic in 2019. Nothing became of any of them.
On another note, checking his X account, I see he is still in full TDS mode.

Haberkorn did have a MeToo moment when a costhot falsely accused him of rape in 2019. Luckily, he posted the text messages to prove that it was a drunken one-night stand. Afterword, that thot's clout disappeared like the wind.
As for Sabat & Schemmel, there were allegations of them hosting a "casting couch" at Funimation, since both actors' degenerate behaviors were exposed during KickVic's heyday.

All of this shit because Vic was about to have a career renaissance due to the Broly movie. It was one of the main things people talked about leading up to the release.
"Is Vic back as Broly?" was EVERYWHERE. He finally got to play a version of Broly that was more than just screaming KAKAROT and didn't have a shit tier backstory like the old Broly did. He would've gotten a lot more roles out of it too. Sabat's Cabal couldn't handle it and MarzGurl saw it as an opportunity to get her anti-Vic movement off the ground in a mainstream way.
I truly believe that if there is any real justice in the world that Vic will be vindicated before he eventually dies. They hated him because he wasn't an ugly fat douchebag, wasn't a turbo leftoid and dared to have a faith...That was the VA's. ArmzGrrrrrrl and her group of ugly 2's went after him because he didn't sign their fucking yaoi art....That's the honest to God truth. That's where these "stories" stem from as we all know.

What is worse is that he is not even one of those obnoxious "God-Bothering" Christians who judge others or quote the Bible wrongly to justify killing their wives. He just had the occasional sermon at Cons. He was still fine with gays (back even when the Pride Flag had more than six colors even), he made dirty jokes and was pleasant to all. There was no reason to not want him as a boss.
Well, I say this but I suspect one reason: They wanted to keep their casting couch. I assume that this is one reason they did not want him to be the head honcho. He would put an end on that for sure. Hope it was worth it.
