Yeah, they really had a "Catch-22" situation: Either they were never going to have their dick licked ever again by young starlets or they could get rid of a good man while risking their own careers. They didn't count on him fighting back and having fan good will. Not factoring that destroyed Funimation. Also, I doubt that Crunchyroll gives them the same level of access in young talent. It is the #MeToo era in there still and Crunchyroll has not the pull with the fans to get away with such a cover-up. Especially in the Internet Age. Everyone knows about their reputation so do not be surprised if there are those who record interviews.
