There was a weird period after AMfest where weirdo simps tried to make it into a Melonie Mac gossip thread, but were at the same time sweeping for her. It was weird as fuck.


Now Mel and HCB are the ones sweeping for their very perverted boss for more than just an awkward moment at AMfest that they can pretend didn't happen and need to be called out. They are not the main focus, but they're a huge part of the content until Jer can no longer can afford to pay them

I don't think you're completely off base, but you're really emphasizing this "boss" thing as if Jer is to Hannah that the boss is to an average office worker. They're both public figures with individual careers to the point where Hannah has her own active YouTube channel. There's clearly an argument, if not a strong one, for her to at least criticize hamplanet's flagrant and repeated terrible behavior beyond our desire to felt.

that's exactly it. their whole PR/online presence selling point is: Christian + free speech. yet Jer bastardizes both in repeated, blatant fashion - and i wanna see em stand on 10 toes like they were before this flaggot drama.
 
I think that some people are mad that Hannah isn't doing/saying more to push back against Jer. There's a whole argument going on about that, and I think most people are already going to have their minds made up as to what they think about that.

The biggest problem I have with Hannah is how vile, disrespectful and generally fucking horrible Jer is to her, to her face. The majority of people here are catching up and focusing on the big parts, but there is a very long history of Jer being a piece of shit to her. It is so much, that I think it would be in her best interest to leave, for her own good, regardless of 'integrity' or 'principles' or whatever else. The amount of abuse she has taken and done absolutely nothing about it is what has caused me to lose respect for her, because she won't even do anything about her reputation being annihilated in realtime. If she isn't going to respect herself, I'm certainly not going to either.

Hannah doesn't know the amount of power she currently has and can wield. She could give Jeremy the Darth Plagueis treatment in one fell swoop by quitting this week. Out of the 3 of them (Jer, Mel and HCB), she's the only parent, the only one with a semblance of etiquette and the only one with family who have been victims of widespread cancel culture (daddy Peter).

What will Jer do in retaliation? Hurl the same insults he threw at Brittany Venti, bring up some mildly embarrassing thing from the past, yell "I MADE YOU!", draw the attention of her former employer Tim Pool into the fray and the pile-on goes ever more mainstream. Jeremy has no leg room to manoeuver, he doesn't have the wit.

All Hannah has to do is 'on principle, my tenure here is untenable, yadda yadda yadda free speech' and a flurry of simps, well-wishers and just plain old Jer alogs will lift her up like Daenerys in Yunkai.

The difference is that kiwi farmers are private people. They're not public figures that have made careers by purveying certain political positions, such as free speach and anti-censorship.

Why would an office worker or a mechanic moralfag to their boss about the need to conform to a certain set of ethics and morality? That's retarded. But if you're entire career is being le heckin based right wing tradwife, its acceptable to hold you to a certain standard if your employer acts in a way that runs counter to your morality and ethics.
