I think your theory's a good one, so here's some corroborating evidence: The Japanese police don't stomp out the Yakuza for this very reason. One of organized crime's benefits (there are quite a few of them when you think about it) is that it's a hell of a lot easier to deal with than free-roaming gangs of violent retards (see Iran for a recent example, lol).

I'm the first to throw shade at Blacks being problems but in fairness Amazon is a horrible company to work for. No matter if you're a driver or a warehouse worker, they track the employee's movement to make sure you're constantly moving male workers are known to carry bottles with them in the warehouse to piss in since taking a real piss break can get them in trouble. Most delivery drivers even in the official Amazon Vans are considered "Contract" workers meaning they can use that as an excuse to not give full time employees benefits. I'm not a big Union Guy feeling Unions can a lot of times want more than the employees they represent are worth like Unionizing Baristas, but Amazon is the one company I support being Unionized.

To elaborate on what you said about delivery drivers, Amazon doesn't actually hire their own drivers. They use 3rd party LLCs, who then make their drivers attend training at Amazon warehouses using curricula and software designed by Amazon, wear Amazon-branded uniforms, use Amazon-branded trucks and equipment which the companies buy from Amazon, abide by Amazon's policies on e.g. facial hair and grooming, and it's all Amazon's software and equipment that tracks employees' eye movements and shit. This is done specifically to inhibit unionization and liability. There's a lawsuit or two going on about this.

Amazon has early morning delivery. I didn't find out I'd signed up for it until I saw someone at my front door at 5am on a freezing Saturday (don't judge me for the hours I keep), opened it, and was confronted with a Negro in Amazon livery carrying a very heavy item I had ordered fewer than 48 hours earlier. He looked exhausted, and not in a "nigger's tuckered out because he has to put some pep in his step for once" way, he was obviously being worked hard on the weekend so that everyone could have their stupid bullshit on their doorstep when they woke up in the morning. I was totally flummoxed and could barely thank him before he went back to his truck... probably should have offered him some coffee, but there was no way he'd have enough time for me to prepare it. I'd have understood if he just left the truck in a parking lot and walked home.

My working theory on that is they raid the DEA's seized assets when nobody is looking throw a big party where they get all coked up or slam fentanyl or really anything and have a big dartbaord/Bingo cage or maybe the "headless Chicken thing"* they did from South Park. And the outcomes are things like "make this pistol braces legal for 6 months then, reverse", "search warrant for well known guntuber" "X brand of gun is too easily convertible to FA, confiscate immediately" It seems a tremendous amount of legislative decisions are made by a law enforcement entity at random, almost as if they are offended someone found a loophole or pointed out stupidity in their choices to spend resources on.

* I honestly wonder if the board has been changed for firearms related laws otherwise this accurately depicts the top authority figures in the ATF making executive decisions on 2A rights.

The cases I described seem like cake walks, caught in possession of a function installed Glock switch, with handgun modified to accept the switch (yes there is a small modification necessary nobody ever mentions)

That very well might be true. I won't advocate for independent militias and private paramilitary organizations without knowing their full purpose and their cause they are trying to secure. The ATF doesn't actually want to take cases like that to trial. The ATF's unspoken mandate is to disarm American citizens. Taking novel arguments/controversies to trial risks having a precedent set that runs counter to the goal of disarming Americans. Every time they take some new gadget that modifies a firearm to trial to try to claim it's illegal somehow risks having some asshole "constitutionalist" judge going "oh wait, derp, 'shall not be infringed,' this shit's not illegal, case dismissed." Can't have that. Wouldn't want to embolden pesky those Second Amendment enthusiasts in any way.

He toughed it out for a few years and got multiple promotions.
He's a manager or supervisor or something.
Makes decent money.
Told me that when you first start it's not great but if you actually work and don't fuck up or complain you go places.
