I think this saga should be the eBay saga
I think this saga should be the eBay saga
This is like one of the best sagas we've had all week.
This made up for the 3 or 4 years of nothing, it got my mind off things , (except making an awesome stirfry) and the photoshops were great and we start the cycle where he flips out on facebook about eBay taking down the ads/.
But if he were to go on esty he could have better luck.
He is capable of earning money, but it would involve breaking some firmly held principle.
Would it be useful to have a thread on here to curate links to fan-made Sonichu merchandise, for those of us who don't have $1,000s to invest in an original Chandler? There are some nice t-shirts I've seen, and with the advent of 3D printing I may one day sip an absinthe frappé through my very own Oversized Red Drinking Straw of Fail.
Or would such a thread be swiftly lock'd?
I've often found a place in my life where a set of Chaotic Combo dolls about the size of those 8" pokedolls would be appropriate.
Someone go work on it.
Bahahaha
I sent him a message:
"$5000 is very expensive for a picture. Does this ship with Christian Weston Chandler or is $5000 solely for the picture and the frame?"
"I am not included personally with the purchase"
@C Cup Milking Pickle do you have a screen cap of that?I was going to say that's pretty ween, but if he actually responded with that then you lucked out and it's pretty funny.
Are you really that torn between getting more Chris content and him "...not deserv[ing] that kind of money...?"I'm really torn on this... It's almost like Sophie's choice for me....
I kinda want someone to buy Chris' "art" at that price it so that he'll become encouraged by this one success, immediately spend the money on junk, then produce tons of new "art" and list it for even more ridiculous prices -- leading to months of productive opportunities for new sagas.
On the other hand, I don't think he deserves that kind of money for crapping out a dirty scribble onto printer paper, and I would really hate to see him get what he wants (In this case, "what he wants" is defined as "the absolute worst thing for him").
How would CWC making money be a loss for the world? Isn't one of the biggest complaints against him is that he just sails theHe accepted a best offer. So... he sold it. CWC made money. Is this a win or a loss for the world? You decide!
Given the fucked up perspective in his drawings, I'd say he's more of a Cwc-asso.Now that he's selling art, he should go by the name Christoff Chand-laire.
You know, with a little ingenuity and a lot of effort on my part I'd probably be able to come up with something similar to this. If people were willing to buy them I'd probably give it a go.I remember somebody posting a Sonichu doll that a friend had made for them a long time ago...Aha! Here it is: http://cwckiforums.com/threads/sonichu-doll.1205/

A set of dolls like that would be pretty cool!

All the proceeds are going to the Mary Lee Walsh scholarship fund for LGBT youth, racial minorities, JEWS, and pretty much anyone else Chris hates.Young.. lady or whatever you are, those are remarkable. It'd be poetic if someone made a line of these and they sold out like meth, with none of the proceeds going to Chris.
