6 months is a bit shorter than expected but the bright side:

1) 6 months in Korean prison, not foreigner prison (foreigner prison has no labor)
2) He's gonna chimp out and spend most of it in solitary (not to be understated, he's going to go insane)
3) Regular beatings from his cellmates (he will have many, at least 6) and collective punishment is a thing so he's gonna get the shit beaten out of him

He's not getting the courtesy of going to where foreigners usually go, which is a cushy version of their usual prison experience. He's going to hard labor prison. (Or jail but I'm not sure whether South Korea makes that specific distinction.)

Some of Asia countries view blacks as dirty and unhygienic, dunno how Korea is now.
I bet on daily beating from earthier guards or other inmates for not following orders, with sprinkle of rape to offset his crime.

Some of you think half a year is nothing, for normal shut-in probably yes, but for social butterfly that is Johnny boy, that craves interactions this already is nightmare, prison will only escalate what is going on right now. He will be broken, if he isn't already.
And on top of that most if not all Asian countries when they say labor camp it isn't license plate stamping it usually heavy manual labor.

And on top of that there are the meals, eastern prison have very strict diet of rice, soup and 1 piece of fish as daily meal, they do get some rice cracker shit in the morning but they usually operate on 1-2 meals per day on slightly above minimum calorie intake.

My prediction is that he will try to self harm to get shorter sentence and when that wont work he will be back as completely broken man.
