This is 100% Nick's fault. He controls the lawyer, he refused the stipulation to get an extension, which in turn forced Melton in this situation where he either had to travel despite severe back pain, which I just assume is legit because look at the hunchback faggot, or no-show the court.

The last minute "hey Dr. Steve, can you do me a solid and write a doctors note?" smells like a half-baked Nick solution to a problem he caused.
And then Nick made it all public and even offered to testify. The guy is totally unhinged.

Because a doctor needs to be licensed in any state where he practices, and apparently, the location of the patient is the primary determinative factor. This has become an issue thanks to the increasing prevalence of so-called "telemedicine."

Maybe it doesn't. I honestly don't know. What I do know is that it's highly questionable to have a medical license and to act as the thermometer a 9 year old heats up against the radiator to pretend to have a fever.

I would assume that they were hanging out drunk/high and Dr. Steve was there and then collectively they thought how funny it would be if Dr. Steve wrote the note. How it would be a total own of Aaron. If Melton has a real back issue, he has a primary care doctor and could have got something from that doctor without much of a problem. I refuse to consider the possibility that Melton was having a serious back problem treated exclusively and remotely via telemedicine by Dr. Steve.

I'm sure Nick - with his legal skills - convinced himself and Melton that there was no chance the judge would reject the continuance. But then the judge did. Then Nick convinced Melton not to sign the legal agreement that would have given them the continuance anyway in exchange for restraining themselves at the show. Then they got Dr. Steve involved because drug logic told them it would be funny.
 
Perhaps the biggest crime Mama K committed was watching and transcribing what she saw from Nick's bodycam. That could explain most of the rage he has towards her.
