Mega Rad Gun Thread

You goys ever feel like selling everything except for like three pieces?
I still like guns, but I just don't really seem to care anymore.
Same but the ones I do want to sell won't go for much so it's not even worth it. I want to sell my glock but I can't find a good price.

Everyone was sharing their carry guns a few pages back but I missed it, I haven't kept up on the thread because of work. I figured I'd throw mine in though (LCP supremacy)

I will be shocked if that is the real price.

My new holster came for my Anaconda. It's an El Paso saddlery "1930 Austin" model. It represents the transition from the holsters of the old west to the modern holsters we have today. It features a retention strap to keep the revolver secure and to keep the hammer from moving. I opted for a plain finish in hopes it would be done quicker, but it still took 20 weeks. next time I'll go for the full carved finish. in all regards it is of superior quality. It fits perfectly and is built like a tank.

I also fired 94 rounds of 300gr +P loads through it today. Total round count on this revolver is now 1,071 rounds. Performance has been good in every measure. the few failures i have experienced has been from ammunition. One nickel case split on firing, and one batch of standard pressure ammo had some very hard (foreign) primers that required double strikes.

406 rounds of High pressure +P .45 colt ammunition (equal performance with .44 mag) has been fired through the gun thus far and it has handled them perfectly. The lock-work remains in fine fettle and tight. When totally locked (when the trigger is fully depressed) the cylinder cannot be turned with finger pressure. My Ruger's are loose as a goose and rattle. Now, as long as the gun is built with some slop in mind it is perfectly find to have some rotation and said Ruger's are perfectly accurate. certainly more than I am. But a tight lockup is a sure sign of quality construction and we all like to see it.

I see no reason to be scared firing this powerful ammo in this gun.

I put the slim poly-ivory grips on it to try. I did not notice any more pain vs wood target grips or even rubber. these loads buck a fair bit, but with proper technique it is completely comfortable. They did however work themselves loose so I'll have to tighten them down better. With standard pressure ammo they probably would have stayed snug.

He already went out of business over a year ago. He was having issues in profitability after he moved to Florida and was forced to modify existing T36s in the wild when the ATF decided they were all machine guns. The T7 (and all of its issues) were basically the nail in the coffin. His website's dead, he let his FFL expire, and he sold off his remaining stock.

Saw this today

An NRA affiliated Jewish gun advocacy group with the absolute clowniest name I have ever heard.

My brow was furrowed in slight confusion watching this
Huh, I wonder why the NPR never did this for Whites, despite Whites being by far the most targeted demographic in America for generations now? Merely cohencidence, I am sure. Retarded name as well. Should have called it the Yid Squad.

ETA: Meant NRA... not sure why I thought NPR lol.

i feel it. i sold the ship of theseus cloud of daggers i had, my beretta bobcat, and while i can't be bothered i want to sell my SDS saiga 12 clone that i haven't shot in like a year as well as the kobra red dot mounted to it. all i ever shoot any more is the MP5, RXM, and mark IV.

UO arms is who he mentions in the letter and they are building the NT7, UO arms probably needs to be looked into more as they were recently financed to scale production by Rochefort Asset Management (Article) (Archive). Steven Young is the CEO of UO Arms and he has no online presence, but has been interviewed.
UO Arms about section is partly AI generated.
The NT7 is estimated to cost about $3500, while the SP7 was listed at $2500 (again no idea if this is true)
At this point the only thing that matters is who comes out with it first, my money is on HK

At least you're still shooting.
I can't remember the last time I bothered.

I want and need to sell my "compromise" guns. Guns i bought as compromises because i couldn't afford or couldn't get what a really wanted.
My Ruger Redhawk .45 because i could not get a Colt's Anaconda. well now Colt makes the Anaconda again and I have one. I'll never shoot that Redhawk again.
My Argentine ballestar-molina because i didn't want to spend the money on a proper 1911.
I'll keep the AR, but I don't ever shoot it. it just does not interest me in the least.
among others.

Big thing I learned is to never compromise because you'll never be satisfied. I want a Sharps rifle. I don't have one of the easily obtainable Italian guns because what I actually want is a US made newly build Sharps rifle from one of the two successor sharps gun makers.

I shot my lima 6 again yesterday and had issues with light strikes again but only with American Eagle and CBC magtech 5.56. PMC greentips ran flawlessly in semi and FRT. I have the correct buffer tube/weight/spring, the partisan works great with other uppers. If I continue to have problems I'll probably just have to bother the guys at lima six.
