Batman and Looney Tunes are very different shows, and in Batman it was Joker freaking out about the IRS because "lol the bad guy who kills people is terrified of the government, implying they're more dangerous than he is" (and this show was made by/for normies before everyone got on the "you can't trust the government" train.)

But @Kari Kamiya is right, it's just an edit gag to go on twitter because today is tax day in the US.

The Joke in Batman the Animated Series was...this thing called

"Funny"

I know that Brokeback Faggot Heath Ledger ruined that concept in the Joker and turned him into a mary sue hobo but it used to be that the Joker would tell funny jokes.
 
So another milestone, usually I'd post am animation milestone to mark the occasion but I struggled to come up with something so I settled on the first episode of davey and goliath.


Disabled on this site....im gonna not be angry about this because of who and what the subject matter is.

Although Christianity in animation goes back to a 1956 short called the candle maker. Davey and goliath is often widely recognized as the first full on animated series to teach morals rooted in Christianity. Though the show was commissioned by the united Lutheran church it tried to stay non denominational and keep davey and his family as "Christians" but not one specific sect. (Protestant, Lutheran, Baptist, methodist)


Also it was animated by the same people who created gumby so it's why they look like they share DNA...because they do.

Most people these days will mostly remember the show as the inspiration behind moral orel, even of the creator has denied an intentional connection.
