As a side-note, Alex Jones apparently said a couple of weeks ago on Tim Pool's show that he's going to shut down Infowars "in the middle of next month".

I still think he was charged way too much and to see and hear him like this? Just doesn't feel right

“No one who wears a Snorlax onesie could be an evil woman!”
Seriously, has this particular fallacy always existed? Does it have a name? Something has some silly or frivolous aspect, so therefore you shouldn’t oppose it? The Nazis investigated stupid pet tricks on the Eve of Barbarossa, no wonder Stalin discounted the warnings of a Nazi invasion (including from a German defector who risked his life to get to the Soviets and was later disappeared).

It will probably last a whole 3 months, tops, before it ends up dead.

The entire thing has been a complete shitshow. Jones is getting punished far harsher than much bigger media companies like Fox or CNN ever got over much worse and more widespread hoaxes.

So it appears that the Texas Court of Appeals blocked some affiliate of the Onion from gaining control of the site, and now it's in legal limbo.

Naturally Ben is PISSED, and is saying he is going to continue in his crusade to try and get Infowars.

Also According to Ben because of this Infowars is set to shut down by Midnight tonight, so we'll keep an eye out for that.

For fucks sake. I could see the lols of The Onion taking over InfoWars, but trying to frame it as a social justice crusade war instead of being a bit lulzy is beyond lame and gay.
It's "The Onion" in name only, they haven't been (tried to be) funny for almost decades at this point.

Every funny thing from The Onion you see are old screenshots or videos.

I hate this case and the whole Onion connection.

The plaintiffs sued for money, not poetic justice. If they wanted to be sure Infowars would only be used for leftist-approved humor, they could have made that a term of the settlement.

Even if Alex Jones' debt is astronomical and unpayable (and seemingly cannot be appealed), the court still has a responsibility to make sure his assets are sold for the highest amount possible to help him pay off his debts. That's just how bankruptcy works. These ludicrous schemes where the families try to leverage his impossibly large debt to them as collateral for a non-existent loan to buy his assets is complete nonsense. As are sealed bids and all the other foolishness.

Why do the courts keep cockblocking the takeover of infowars? My understanding was that infowars was supposed to be pimped out to help pay for the utterly insane 1.4 billion dollar payout Jones got.

He's just burning money for a website that will never, ever make back the revenue. This is his attempt to pull an Elon Musk and "buy his enemy." Doesn't look like it's going smooth. I really wonder how much has been spent, total, on this absolute fucking debacle. I still think it was insane to allow them to take the way Alex Jones makes money to "pay the families" when now they know they'll never get the rest of the money. It just makes it obvious there was never any concern at all for the retards who saw dollar signs and that it was always a chance for the Cathedral to lay down a terrifying punishment to encourage people against having their own opinions.

And just look how well that worked out; now you have people running through scientology buildings, going door to door in every neighborhood in the country bloodhounding for fraud they can use to propel themselves to the top (with the overwhelming supermajority of it of course coming from one political group) and as many citizen journalists as there are citizens. Truly the powers that be do not have the ability to understand effects beyond the first order. None of these retards do.

Because sometimes you get judged who can't believe what they're seeing. This whole fucking case is one of the most unbelievable events in American legal history and so few people even know about it.

I hope Alex Jones finds some way to swindle all these highly hebrew-acting motherfuckers because this isn't just a miscarriage of justice, it's a flat out final week abortion of justice.
