Actually, Chris would be more upset that someone is taking credit for his genius work. The way Chris views his artwork is different than how the rest of the world does. He's criticized fanart that was amazing because it had minor technical flaws. Even if something were to be better than his originals in every way possible he'd create invisible aspects of his work that cannot be measured. He'd say something about the "love and hard work" he put into it being superior. Chris has generally been more concerned with people taking credit for his work. Does Chris want money? Of course, but notice how one little fake auction that claimed his artwork wasn't authentic caused a picture and a huge wall of text on his next ebay listing. Money is his active goal but his need to maintain his ego is pretty much a knee-jerk reaction in every scenario.
