) and I just decided to quit a trans support group because they were putting so much emphasis on being "normal" and assimilation and that's the wrong thing to say to autistic people.
I imagine some trannys want to blend into society so they can avoid hassle, so it's a fair enough thing to talk about in a trans support group. If you're an autist with a sense of self awareness and self preservation, then you know it's not exactly practical to walk around letting your social awkwardness hang out for all to see. Staph always talks from a place of privilege that she doesn't work, so is free to be a full retard.
