I think that's how it goes with lolcows. They always take it just one step too far, which snowballs into them taking each weird thing they do another step too far. She (and her commenters) really doesn't get that children will play with their dolls as they wish. If a child is swinging her doll by the hair or gets her dirty, the kid is enjoying it. Maybe her parents could buy her a Barbie doll if money is an issue, the kid just prefers Barbie, or if they don't think that they're ready for an AG. But at the end of the day it's their money. It's her toy. A played with doll is money well spent. Win-win for the parents and child.
