Mersh pointed out that assuming Melton paid Dr. Steve for his on-stage appearance at Hackamania — and Melton has historically paid even nobodies like Pat Dixon and Ray Devito an appearance fee plus expenses — that makes the ethics of the doctor’s note even more dodgy. He has constructed an interior narrative of superiority and unrecognized genius that he can never admit fault. Ego death is worse that actual death for him at this point.

No matter what happens, its a Nick victory for him.

He's already setting up the mental chess pieces to rebrand a HRO defendant loss into a win in his own psyche.
The judge is corrupt, his representation is incompetent, the law is overbearing, appeals and maliciously daydreaming of a defamation action.

I dont think its a mental illness, though he does have obvious brain damage from his drug and alcohol consumption.

I think he has personality conflicts that he has either never bothered to overcome or has given up overcoming.

Until his trial streaming heights, Nick's life was seemingly failure after failure. Nick has given up being a real streamer because he knows he will never again those same heights, so why bother.

Now, he can say that whenever he does anything and fails, it's because things were rigged against him, other people were deceptive or immoral, or everything doesnt matter cause he is above it all.

I've been curious about April's husband #2. Some ITT noticed that when searching April on background check websites, she comes up as "April Hayhurst" [1]. The man himself was not coming up on her page for a while, but in recent weeks, a potential husband has surfaced. I kept some of this info to myself for a bit because he's just a random, non-online guy. But once I found a picture of him, I had to share. You'll see why.

April's new husband may be Evan Duane Hayhurst, age 38 [2][3][4][6].
  • Evan's listed address on many background check websites appear to match April's confirmed address, i.e. the cuck shed right on the highway in Willmar [1][2]. This and April's new surname are the only links I can find between them. Perhaps enterprising Kiwis will be able to find more.
  • Evan was born on February 24, 1988 [4].
  • According to the West Central Tribune (a Kandiyohi County publication), Evan was previously married at least once. He married Rebecca Ann Vogel on Halloween in 2009 [5][6]. From the article announcing their marriage we also learn:
    • Evan's parents, Greg and Lisa, divorced at some point. Greg married a woman named Cindy [11][12].
