No way this is real. I don't fucking believe you.
Deltarune has it even worse
Gigachad with Todd Howard's crudely-pasted head is looking upon this from Sovngarde and smiling. Can you say the same, Imperial? They inserted an ad for their merch in the game, which costs 20$ in early access and will cost more once more chapters release.
It would've been interesting if Undertale remembering your reloading of saves had a more subtle effect where you slowly realize that and it feels uncanny, as opposed to a character just telling you "You reloaded your saved game and I know it! This is this game's main gimmick!". However, it would've seriously impacted the demo's popularity by barely demonstrating itit isn't screamed at you through the whole game

I enjoy DR / UT. I honestly think a lot of people hating the humor are justified even though I like it.They inserted an ad for their merch in the game, which costs 20$ in early access and will cost more once more chapters release.
Maybe I'd let that slide for Undertale, but for Deltarune this statement is just false.were made with a lot of effort and an understanding of the medium.
I think it's intentionally dragged out so each new chapter is released as a launch title on new Nintendo platforms or during other big Nintendo events.the time it's taking to make DR is becoming quite grating
Yeah, for supposedly being the game he really wanted to make, Toby sure is wasting his time on pointless shit like composing for VTubers on making cameos on cartoons, to the point he had to hire a manager to make him and his team stop wasting time on pointless shit, and his autism for simultaneous JP translation and console releases (remember the launch of the switch 2 was holding the release of chapters 3 & 4 hostage) doesn't help.Real talk, the time it's taking to make DR is becoming quite grating. ALLEGEDLY it's been Toby's magnum opus since before UT was in development, and UT ties into it here and there with small references, plus gay zoomer ARG social media stuff Toby did. Problem is, that kind of stuff is only really cool when the game is actually playable. We're coming in on 10 years since chapter 1 released and we are still only halfway through.
I really despise Toby's social media cult of personality. He's actually a very greedy and egotistical businessman who's de-facto a partner of Nintendo. People buying into his "wholesome silly quirkchungus widdle guy who makes games in his basement" online persona are retarded.Yeah, for supposedly being the game he really wanted to make, Toby sure is wasting his time on pointless shit like composing for VTubers on making cameos on cartoons, to the point he had to hire a manager to make him and his team stop wasting time on pointless shit, and his autism for simultaneous JP translation and console releases (remember the launch of the switch 2 was holding the release of chapters 3 & 4 hostage) doesn't help.
It's because consoles are gay.Particularly GPL3 since they would be required to share the source code. I'm understanding if it's some new technology and you wish to leave it out of your competitors reach, but this is a game from the late 90's. Who cares? Afraid that EA or Ubisoft will learn how the room-over room portal rendering in Blood works?
We would be a step closer to world peace if Nintendo didn't mind rape an entire generation.Developing for consoles requires the use of proprietary libraries and other such nonsense that can't be released under the GPL.
What? Idk about the hardware now but for a long time all the hardware was proprietary and needed a dev kit, it was out of necessity. We would be a step closer to world peace if Nintendo didn't mind rape an entire generation.
No you didn't. Multiple publishers took one look at Nintendo/Sega licensing and said fuck that. Most notably camerica with their Alladin system for the NES (made after Nintendo sued them for the game genie) and EA reverse engineering the genesis to then blackmail SEGA into allowing them to make their own carts at a reduced fee. What? This kind of hammers it in. I think most Deltarune fans don't even play the game (not that there's much game to be played). It is built on fandom, for fandom, designed to be enjoyed through fandom.I don't give a damn my boy Toby can make some music
I legitimately don't understand your point. Nintendo, Sega and Sony all needed a special devkit for this consoles just by nature of the hardware. I don't think we are disagreeing, I just think it's unfair to point the finger at Nintendo when Sony is grand champ for ruining good hardware with proprietary software. No you didn't. They did not. Devkits serve two functions. First is allowing development for the console before the hardware is finalized. This ceases to matter after it launches. The second is DRM, as the commercial models will not launch unsigned code. This is something Nintendo pioneered with the NES lockout chip.I legitimately don't understand your point.
