I have nothing but contempt for the retards that were going oooooh and all that shit when the guy got punched in the face and then lose their shit when the guy got shot. The basic thing of helping people getting hurt like that is not moving them to a different spot, to make sure the person will not be paralyzed by internal or spine damage (or in worse cases, die the same way). Unfortunately, this guy got hit and landed on a perfect spot where he's fucked where the compassionate people can't do that and doubly fucked because of the train equalivent of a double tap right after.

The rule is do not move anyone unless they are in immediate danger. If someone is literally in the way of a fucking train then you pull them out the way. Same for a fire or unblockable traffic and such. If you leave them where they are then well video evidence they have a bit more to worry about than spinal damage.

Yes, in normal circumstances but if they are still in direct danger you absolutely need to move them even without stabilizing the spine.

Yikes. a full gram of methadone will definately kill you even if you are opiate tolerant to an extent. The highest dose i've seen regularly perscribed is 150mg and the average is 70-90mg for hardened junkies weaning off fetty and smack. (pretty much the same thing these days.)

I once gave a friend with chronic back pain 3mg oral and they were fuckin GOOBERED after an hour. After puking they felt great and by the 2nd hour they were slurring and nodding out. At 6 hours woke up still high as a kite. Said it was the best and most pain free they ever felt even 24hrs later. 3mg. This guy took 1000mg. Fuck me gently. That's dedication to ending your days on Earth for sure.

Within reason though. The absolute first thing you must do in first aid is ensure your own safety, because you can't help anyone if you too get injured or die. Second is to clear them from immediate danger, though whilst continuing to ensure your own safety. This supercedes respecting any potential spine injuries the patient has, because in a professional sense paralysis is a favourable to death. You are presented with some outlandish scenarios in your tests that are meant to assess how well you understand this order of operations. Things like "Patient is an electrician who fell from a high ladder and is now lying unconcious in contact with a puddle of water that is also in contact with a fallen cable". First thing you must do is ensure the power is turned off, then retrieve them from the water (with something insulated), then you can start worrying about their spine.

Unfortunately, from a professional standpoint, she should not have tried save him at all, because a live railway crossing is extremely dangerous and her "attempt" almost resulted in a second death. One could argue there was still a moment there where you could confidently safely retrieve him before the train gets too close, but definitely not if you're standing there froze up wondering if you should move them or not because spine injury. That's the whole point of clearing the danger being the second rule, and one that should be treated with urgency.

No children. No animals. Generally avoid the torture videos. Funky Town will be forever burned in my brain. You really can’t unsee shit. It’s there forever. Never gonna forget him biting on the knife. NGL that was pretty fucking metal. There are a few that I’ll just never forget. Funky town, Pezhead, dude getting his penis eaten by a dog, dude that got his heart cut out of his chest while he was still conscious (can’t remember if that was the same dude or not), and the Russian grandpa that got brutalized by those three shitheads. I’m mostly here for the comments describing the videos these days. If something seems particularly interesting, I’ll watch. Trains vs Jeets is always interesting, workplace accidents, and I also have a morbid curiosity when it comes to Asian stabbings for some reason.

Yeah I very stupidly watched somebody beat his father and grandmother to death by caving their heads in with a hammer and that one has been in the back of my head for the past month or so, especially the fathers agonal breathing and blood coming out of his face before the next hammer swing killed him.
I've never really had a taste for brutality like that. I don't care much for torture videos, but when it's combat like people taking on law enforcement or soldiers killing terrorists, I'm all in.

Bodycams became a thing only because marxist activists hoped they would prove that police are all racist chuds who torture innocent black men to death on a regular basis. However, this backfired when the cameras showed only reality and that niggers get ventilated for acting like niggers. Now there is a push to abolish body cameras by the very same activists.

That was the funniest backfire in the history of niggers whining for fairness. It ended up being more fair to law enforcement than them because now they can't get away with their aggressive and combative nigger behaviour.
There's this thing not a lot of people know about in America called police liability insurance. It's basically like malpractice insurance for doctors, but it picks up the tab when a cop uses excessive force, there's a wrongful death, property damage, et cetera.
No fucking department that has ever used body cams is going to stop using them, because not only has complaints of misconduct been reduced by about 25% but the premiums for a police liability insurance drastically go down for the entire department because everything is now recorded and all officers are aware of it.

I believe even if they took you to hospital, that big of a dose you wouldn't have to worry about just your breathing at that point I think you would go brain dead or have organ failure.
Usually with an overdose you take a little bit too much and your breathing becomes so suppressed that you just stop breathing or you choke on your own puke. That big of an amount though, especially since methadone lasts so long in your body, it would fuck with your heart rhythm and do irreversible damage to all of your organs.
I think buddy was fucked as soon as he dosed that much.
