Shitlibs love saying "We're a nation of immigrants!" but I know for a fucking fact the people who founded this country and wrote it's constitution never in a million years planned for Haitians to be coming here.

Considering the time of the American revolutionary war was the same time of the great slave uprising of Haiti where tens of thousands of French and mulatto citizens were tortured, slaughtered and/or raped to death by revolting slaves turned warlords and the entire island devolved into a hell of misery and starvation that has yet to change, you are more right then you know.

I love bad dummy shots and the one in Riki-Oh is particularly funny because it's a wide shot with no cuts or screams. It's just a single SPLAT!, it's fucking great. The dummy looks surprisingly good, too.

The whole movie is a masterpiece of dark comedy, but I agree that particular scene comes out of nowhere and yet is totally on point at the same time, and the actual fall of the dummy really was surprisingly good for it's time too.
