Nick doesn't strike me as a guy who can buy off the rack either. In the 'gala' photo...where everyone behind them is in a black suit by the way. The jacket does look worn, but that might be because he used cheap material for it. It kind of looks like someone cut up a linen tablecloth and with what little I can see of the lining, it looks cheap as well. That tie and the shirt are new or newish.

Also his hair makes him look like Eraserhead or Dr Steve Brule. You need a youngish face to be able to rock the just got out of bed look. Also as you go grey, of which with all of Nick's boozing and drugs, I am sure he is going. Grey hair tends to develop a mind of it's own, so it's easier and better looking to just keep it neat.
