It depends on the doctor and who they are working for. The doctors are necessary generally for pain management and associated medications. Its easy for not so good doctors to entirely disconnect themselves from the people in hospice care and deal with the patients through the staff. Most of the normal issues with pain drugs don't really apply for hospice. They are going to get whatever they want or whatever they seem to need.

Don't forget April's own stupidity in the mix as it seems everyone in Minnesota graduated from the Learing Center. I don't think there was much to the relationship other than Aaron was "the biggest radio star in St. Cloud" while April was working in a factory painting valves or some shit and saw a way out. Plus Aaron came with a pre-built family so she could roleplay being a mom without destroying her body until she decided being a coke whore was more fun. Then she thought she was going to replace Kayla and get with a "big Youtube celebrity" with more money but obviously that didn't work out so she found another sucker to leech off of. That begs the question what this new guy has to offer other than "protection" from Nick or if April finally learned her lesson about getting with divorced/married men.

The only way that would be spotted is if a cop happened to run his plate while he was parked at the courthouse. Not sure if MN has a visual indicator for the registration date on their plates. Either way, the judge wouldn't really know or care unless he specifically asked in the course of proceedings.

And tbh, Nick's probably not the only one parked at a courthouse with expired tags and lapsed insurance.

I hadn't even really thought about that. It's really telling about the kind of person Nick is that while you think you're friends with him he's saving all of your conversations to use against you in case you stop associating with him.

While at the same time Nick is/was aggressively using an app for communications (signal I think) to ensure that conversations and data with those same people would be private and not preserved on their end.
