I've always found it curious nobody's ever bothered going after the real root of this endless censorship enthusiasm within Youtube's inner workings. There's no end of possible suspects but rooting it all out would be fun, profitable and entertaining for all to watch, mostly because there's no single actual answer and so it'd be an ongoing pain in Youtube's side, leading to them trying to exert backchannel pressure somehow to stop it, further revealing their connections and hidden supporters, making it easier to root out and destroy.

It can't just be "advertisers," for example, because they openly and cheerfully advertise blatantly illegal shit ("Grand Theft Auto 6 Beta" running on all Rockstar-related videos for awhile, remember?). Advertisers don't give a shit who gets offended either (look at Budweiser). It can't "just" be one of the obvious suspects either because it isn't "enough" to justify the absolutely schizophrenic decision making involved in YT's actual censorship practices. Youtube also obviously wants to censor because they could clearly fight back (hard) by revealing all sorts of dirt on ... well, everybody involved in this shit ... and put a stop to it instantly (they're too big to fuck with if they wanted to start fucking back).

I got the same message too a couple weeks ago when I was felting him in one of his Rumble Lives. I honestly believe he personally muted me and a few other people. Because he was talking about something retarded midsentence, lost focus on what he was saying to focus on chat, and all of a sudden, I was muted, and he just went back to the conversation with Mel and Hannah. I also saw a few other people who were felting him after this also became immediately inactive in chat. No idea if it's an actual ban or not.

It all goes back to the Johnstown flood and the switch to strict liability within the court system. The courts can't convict someone of a serious crime without a major burden of proof but they can financially destroy a company or a person if that entity doesn't punish someone based on minimal evidence of a crime or of a civil wrong(ie shit that leads to lawsuits). This is because when you run an organization of people, you end up becoming liable for their actions if you don't react recklessly enough to censor or expell them.
