Iran Crisis ∩ Trump Politics Mass Debates Thread

Theoretically, what would stop China from sending it's own ships to the strait to get the oil? I doubt they believe we would fire on, or try to board them.
It would be China's hesitancy to engage in warfare. Is China a collapsing state just wait two weeks? No. It's pretty much in the same boat as the US right now. Things aren't great, but they're not so bad as to call for a full military intervention. They probably believe (and rightly so) that this is just a short term tantrum from the US and that things will go back to normal after the midterms. Which they will

In some ways lefties are becoming more anti-semitic than even the right they called Nazis. Fucking bonkers timeline.
Not all that surprising. There's The Left, then "the left", you know? The Left has always been suspicious on some level that "the left" is a jewish psyop anyway.

>Will therefore extend the ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted.

In other words, Trump has found his exit from the war.
IRGC will drag them back in, they will be back in soon enough… Daddy is making himself richer. I can’t imagine Hezbollah ending their fight against those pesky Jews anytime soon. That will just slowly ramp things back up.

Most of the ships crossing the strait have been from the Chinese “shadow fleet”. During the early days in the war, all the Chinese ships were publicly broadcasting that’s they were either Chinese owned or crewed. No issues for them crossing, now it’s not worth it because the transit lags are primed and set to detonate.

Better options elsewhere in the world for oil atm!

It would be China's hesitancy to engage in warfare.
Carrying on from the shipping traffic, it was interesting that most of the Chinese oil tankers didn’t return to the Gulf, there has been a rather large influx of container ships though.

What is interesting is I noted this about a week or so before the F15 got shot down, rumours from numerous analysts predict that it was shot down by a Chinese made antiaircraft weapon.

China would have the upper hand, for a rather quick opening victory, China could come now and probably perform some pincer attack utilising the natural geography of Iran.

Don’t forget China and Daddy have been economically at war with each other for a long time now.

Looks like Iran is in control. Where is the US navy in all of this?
I was told that I was totally wrong in the other, gayer thread about the US navy being unable to control the strait.

What is going on? Where is orange nigger man in all of this?

I do love the Schizo Chinaman, but this relies on the US government being competent in any way. Which it isn't- it's too corrupt (Jewish) and inept to bring about the technate and choke point plans. The Navy can't be the strongest in the world and at the same time be nothing but rusting scrap heaps with no industrial base to replace them. And corporations won't set up industrial bases here because China doesn't have labor laws. Nor does India.
Something tells me DEI wasn't the main reason these people of merit weren't getting hired before

@AltisticRight can you unban me from the other thread since it turns out I am fully correct and the people sneeding in that thread are hilarious and can't laugh at the stupidity of all of this.

Definitely after Trump's term is over. One election cycle is within any five year plan. Once they know it's a long term problem, they'll act first by quickly divesting US bonds and then expanding the scale of rare earth export bans to anything that might have military use like screws or cheap microprocessors. Any military option is probably going to be like Iran where the US is the clear aggressor near Chinese waters.

Confirmation that the reported ships are in the vicinity of the reported attacks:-

You can see the screenshot, highlighted ship in the white circle is detailed within the screenshot.

Again for reference green is container ships and the two green shapes in the black circle are the Epaminondas and the Francesca both of which were reported to be attacked seized and led to the Iranian coastline.

Epaminondas, who is owned by Greek company, reported heavy damage to the bridge and the Francesca reported damage to the hull and accommodation, owned by MSC a company founded in Italy and headquartered in Switzerland.

Both of these tell a different picture to the Euphoria who is owned by a UAE-based company which reports that all crew is safe and no damage to the vessel.

IIRC they don't moderate Autistic Thunderdome subforums but lolcow ones. But don't hold your breath, it's clear the moderation of USPG2 and the other Iran thread is designed to keep a safespace for MAGA supporters (not necessarily because of ideological reasons, probably to avoid flamewars/report spamming)

Interestingly they may be falling foul of a crypto scam. How stupid the future really is.

I strongly doubt the western companies would fall foul of this purely because the insurance to set sail is astronomical. These vessels are too high of a capital outlay to have them uninsured. Unless Daddy has got some of his navy ships in the region and providing a guarantee.

On the other hand the UAE ship, I could potentially see that because the emirates combined wealth together could cover a guarantee for ships under its flag.

I would guess that the large owner/operators of ships are moving "cheaper" ships through the strait as a way of figuring out how to use it in this situation.

They're probably sacrificial lambs - even if they get attacked it is rare that the crew actually get injured or killed. They're huge ships and Iran just seems to disable them or attack them with a single drone which causes a bit of damage.

There is no such thing as a cheap container ship for these companies especially if they are effectively wavering all rights to financial redress. You don’t move these big heavy defenceless ships without some sort of financial safety net.

When does Trump's insurance plan become available? Surely that will get them moving.

Or was it some half baked idea that nobody had thought through hurriedly posted about with no way of actually implementing it?

That is probably true but what is also true is that many shipping companies are shell companies with dubious finances - if the ships don't move in a set amount of time they'll likely go bankrupt. So I imagine that is factoring into things.

Correct, also these shell companies will have some strong link to one of the BRICS nations, most commonly its either Chinese or Russian, two of the major supporters of the regime.

Both countries have been suspected of supplying intelligence and other military hardware such as the Chinese built MANPADs. In return it has probably been confirmed that Iran has been supplying drones to Russia, there is a very eerie similarity between witness reports from the Gulf and Ukraine, so much so that the Saudis have been buying the Ukrainian anti drone, far cheaper and more effective than the American system.

Another interesting fact, keep an eye on the Caspian Sea, my chilled stoner brain has just recognised the fact, Russia and Iran have a direct sea route.
