I can't imagine being so stupid that common terms like "carrying water" is beyond me. Look Tranny Black, it's a term meaning to assist or support someone. It's not racist. I propose that an addition should be made to those guidelines on whether you might be an alcoholic: if people are able to find pictures of you from google business pages and unrelated twitters drinking alone in multiple establishments once a month consistently, you may have a problem.

What really stands out to me, as a forner barfly, is that he doesn't even have bar buddies. For the uninitiated, these are people that are regularly at the bar at the same time/day as you, like in Cheers. You often don't know their last name or where they live, but for a couple hours on a Thursday night you set the world to rights, play a little pool and have a low key good time.
He must be as abrasive IRL as he is online if he can't even get himself accepted among a group like that.
