This is nothing to do with threats in the letter, btw. I am advising you not to do that because sending that letter will make your position immeasurably worse.

Jesus Christ, Fareal, I'm a lecturer myself and I implore you of behalf of my colleagues to not rewrite that letter. At least not at the moment. Maybe when he really shows any signs of improvement that isn't directly thwarted by insulting posts in the next hours.
I'm not Scottish, granted. Your diversity system is also different, won't deny that. But I can assure that they will do everything to keep him away from enrolling, if he can't accept this current decision and is still trying to send all forces he has to enforce his will on their asses. I know, you only want to prevent larger damage that would definitely occur with sending the letter in it's current state, but you also should think about the other students and lecturers. It will put them at a risk, if Aut would enter university in the next weeks. If he does something extremely stupid, like attacking a lecturer, it will be the fucking end of the story. The universites in UK may be much more open-hearted than ours, but they still have a 0% approval of annoying the shit out of the whole staff.
I respect your helpful manner, but I really think, this would put both sides in more danger.
