This whole thing reminds me of the myth of Sisyphus. No matter how many times he tries to push that rock up that hill, it's going to roll back down again.
I can't even feel sorry for him in this situation because it's his own greed and arrogance that keep him where he is.

I thought so too, way back in the thread. Nice to see the same Classical reference come up twice in one thread; shows that this place attracts a better class of villain.

Incidentally, did you see the CWCised version of the Divine Comedy on the oldest page of the Sonichu subforum? It's in a bigger fan art or fan fic thread, and it's better than I ever thought troll fics could be.

2. It is always hard to evaluate your own work, for anyone. Speaking for myself, I have a general sense of what my strengths and weaknesses are, but if you asked me to compare myself to someone else of relatively similar ability at some random task, I would have a lot more difficulty doing it than I would comparing 2 other people of relatively similar ability. I think that is true for a lot of people. Further to that, a lot of our sense of our abilities come from others assessments, and Chris has had so many fake assessments of his work it must get really confusing. Multiply this by the typical "fog of CWC" confusion, and it is quite predictable that Chris can't really evaluate his own work.
this is very true. i like to make collage illustrations, which is a kind of work-intensive process. that makes me want to sell them for a lot because i like to think that my time and effort is valuable! but it occurs to me that nobody looking to buy something like that gives a shit about how much time it took me to put together, especially if other people are offering similar artworks that are either much better or much cheaper

Heavens, making these things is something I might actually consider when I get up to that level of sewing.
Mostly because I want a group of them to crowd around my computer and confuse anyone who walks in my room.
Annoying Chris would just be a bonus

No pressure at all, but now seems like an ideal time to start selling something like this. Lots of interest on here, of course, but also Chris' eBay listings are drawing a grand number of views. Anything that finds its way into the "similar to this listing" box (a case of careful keywords) will probably get decent views.
If this item were attractively priced and appealing to the Sonichu anti-fan, it could sell very well...

You rang?

Sonichu Dolls Series 2? Yes? Yes.
Oh wow, I would definitely buy an Asperchu doll. :)

A whole TRUE and HONEST plushie empire, coming to its apex with the advent of novelty animatronic Sonichus that play "It's OK 2B Gay".

In a perfect world, I imagine Chris trying to sue you based on his indefensible "copyright" paperwork. Then, when that fails, due to lack of other options he resorts to pointing out that you can't legally make money off of Sonichu, as the character himself is derivative of Sega and Nintendo's existing properties and inherently unoriginal.

OPL himself then vanishes forever in a puff of logic.

She could be the greatest troll of them all! And hello, fellow Douglas Adams-reader ;)

Here we go again! $1000 buy it now NO HAGGLE. Also he changed his eBay profile picture to that one everyone's photoshopping.

That funny. As soon as it's taken down by eBay again, well, there goes his eBay account, straight into suspension, or at least investigation for item spamming.

Unfortunately though, the archive thread server has been down for the past month or so, and Lowtax is as good at customer service as Chris.

www.archive.org I managed to use it to see the old threads but finding the URLs to em may be a bit tricky since the main forum is down, however with Archive you may be able to use the search at the time when the threads were created

Chris actually believed in Santa only until a few years ago. He kept demanding that Santa bring him a girlfriend. Hell, he even made a couple of XMas songs about it.

And then when that St. JERKalas didn't deliver a boyfriend-free naked girl hogtied with ribbons under the tree next to the Lego playsets on Christmas Morning, that right jolly old elf ended up on Chris' Shit List. Now Santa's soul hurts for all Eternity.

Don't forget, he also was still waiting for mommy to pop a sibling out for him around this days as well.
