I wouldn't really say looney tunes: back in action is mediocre. It's definitely the best animation wise for a live action animated movie, at least it's not a complete corporate advertisement like space jam 1 and 2, or as aids as coyote vs acme. But the day the earth blew up is still a better looney tunes movie because it's not reliant on live action star power and is fully animated in 2d. But the sad thing is, is that back in action was the straw that broke Joe Dante's back as a film director for a major studio.
 
Trailer looks like shitty 3d models with a 2d cel shade plopped into live action, doesn't look anything like the hand drawn animation of yore.

Wonder if people had known that they wouldn't be so sad that it didn't release because I sure don't care about it with that animation style.

Slightly mixed: while a fair amount of people say it's ugly, most people on xitter are sucking this movie's proverbial dick from shaft to gooch.

Out of curiousity, are the new seasons as fetishy as the old ones or has it been toned down? I'd imagine they were.

It feels toned down significantly.

Haven't seen all the new episodes, but it was a great deal of fun from what I watched. Had a very modern 2000s appeal, like if society had kept the general culture of the 2000s, but incorporated new technology. The girls get sent to a tech utopia version of Singapore, basically to avoid any US politics. From there it is the standard hijinks of new villain every episode and the girls pulling out the usual gadgets. Will say, Clover is changed a bit to not have the usual boy-craziness. I don't think she even hooks up with anyone or shows interest throughout the entire season.

I don't have to explain to anyone in here why comparing this to Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a giant kick in the face to Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It could have amazing writing and be hilarious and it would still be insulting based on the poor animation alone.
 
Of course is reddit sucking the dick.
Imagine comparing Roger Rabbit and Space Jam when you have Cool World as a alternative. All with the same ideas.
