Johnny was just a one term enlistee from the looks of everything so he wouldn’t get anything in terms of retirement pay since he wouldn’t have reached the required rank, and his disability pay, which wouldn’t surprise me he’s scamming to get, is a capped payment; he gets 80% which is a little over $2,000 every month, for life, so yeah, it’s “fun” money. The real money is in his rental property, something that, depending on how Texas divorce laws work, he could beat grave risk of having snatched from him and awarded to Melonie in the inevitable divorce. I don’t care how much money he makes, it doesn’t fix the fundamental problems of him being a serial cheater and her being a toxic narcissistic addict (to online attention and validation). Money will only magnify those issues. I really can’t wait for the divorce; it’ll be messy, public, and oh so fun to watch.
