They just hate exotic hunting because it's rich people doing it. There's no deeper reason. They always ignore that exotic game hunters pay huge fees that fund conservation efforts in areas that otherwise struggle for funding because they're poor as fuck; this is not as important as rich person = bad.
Most big game hunting is essential to funding these reserves. When an animal is old or sick or whatever, the reserve admins will auction/sell the rights to a "hunter" to put it down.

I had this same experience a few days ago when I decided to try and mess with grok after I had previously tested it by running some of my own drawings through it to interesting results. Instead of what it was doing before, It kept generating an image that'd break upon generating and become a blank broken image icon. Trying to download it didn't work either and just gave me a 0.kb jpg file. So I look up online if it's down, and instead of talk about images being just broken I get results that are basically "WHY CAN'T I MAKE PORN WHY FDOES IT KEEP SAYING CONTENT MODERATED I'M PAYING FOR THIS TO MAKE ME PORN WHY CAN'T I ERP WITH MY GROK!" shit.
