White ink is also notorious for aging poorly. And from the pictures I saw it doesn’t look that great over black (see spoiler). I’m also told that a blackout tattoo is very technical, because if you don’t get the black ink at the exact same level in the skin it looks splotchy and weird. I’ll take their word for it.She doesn't just want a blackout, she wants to do white lines over it. Which, doing 3 tattoos over one area sounds painful, but after that we have to keep an eye out for her Munchie arc. Tattoo ink isn't really regulated, and it's more importantly known to travel to lymph nodes and weaken immune responses.
And of course you’ve got to protect the entire area from UV light to prevent fading and making it look even worse. It just seems like a terrible idea all around.
