I am cats. Ask me Nothing

How can I stop cats scratching at a door at night?
They’re not allowed to sleep in the bedrooms because they’re a pain and bounce all over you all night and I’m sleep deprived as it is. But they SCRAAAAAATCH constantly all night and it makes such a noise. I have tried:
-tin foil on the door (Tin foil being shredded is even louder..)
-stuff in front of the door (disassembled loudly)
-lavender oil/cinnamon oil on door (ignored.)
-spray bottle of water used on cat when it scratches (look of great indignation, but no behavioural change.)
What can I do?
Double sided cat tape. They make a special tape that you stick on whatever you dont want them scratching, and it gives the surface an unpleasant texture (kitties do not like sticky things) and its not as noisy as tin foil and harmless to the cat. Eventually they'll get the memo that doors arent for scratching and you can remove it. Hopefully.

Here is kitty at the vet for the first time in a decade, so I can post ridiculous fullres photos without self-doxing my apartment.
I had to take my little Halloween to the vet cause she had a pretty large sore on her back. I felt so bad cause I didn't notice it earlier. I live alone and have been working 50-60 hour weeks since the new year. Luckily they said it was from allergies and her scratching herself too much. They gave her a few shots Friday and said everything would be good. The sore healed so fast I had trouble finding it today. I'm so happy my little Halloween is ok.

Do you know what the shot was? My 16y.o. here started over-grooming last fall, which improved through the winter but is now back and leading her to lick and scratch to scabbing (hence the vet visit). New onset allergies is apparently unusual in an older cat, but that's the assumption until the blood test comes back. Cortisol shots were mentioned but I'm not enthusiastic about that due to the side effect list.
Could be a much-delayed onset of allergic reaction to pork protein, but I started subbing chicken thigh for pork loin years ago...

I had to buy it online but they might have it at a pet store or something. Hardware stores might also sell double sided tape but cat tape is supposed to be less sticky so it doesn't peel paint or damage leather when you take it off.
I bought some off Amazon years ago (came in large sheets). I didn't need it to keep them out of the room (I let them sleep with me) but to stop one of them from pawing the bathroom door to make it reverberate loudly. It worked for about a day until the fat shit figured out it didn't cover the moulded parts of the door.

Unfortunately no. I even double checked the paper work and it just says allergy shot. Hope she gets to feeling better!!!

Edit- Actually i'm an idiot it says on the side effects block at the bottom of the page it is a "cortisone medication". The only side effects I noticed from her was that she was really tired for that day. Of course she was given an anti biotic shot and two vaccines at the same time.

Baby! Brilliant pink nose + tuxedo seems rare because of the usual reach of the black cowl. She's so striking.

She's beautiful! Love the little white ear hairs, super cute. Looking very brave and well behaved for being at the vets office too.

Our oldest cat is a rescue and terrified of the vet and has to go in the squash cage, which is traumatic as hell (for both of us).

I kiss my furry little baby 500 times a day
I even take her little paw and put it on my face
I hug her, I squeeze her, I boop her little nose
I tell her that I love her, I wonder if she knows
