I have zero clue why they would think this, the bulk of injun deaths were from disease and the jacksoning of their civilizations would have continued anyway, infact the Europeans were generally hesitant to enslave the natives in the Americas (plenty of exceptions but the basic rule stands) versus Muslim societies which had a downright obsession with slavery.
