A pretty large portion of normal people don't trust them now. But they do still have a lot of power, and influence on the government level in most places where they already had influence. It's just finally being challenged a bit.

This was something I was pointing out a while back. When I was posting in USPG2 still, it did seem like people didn't want to improve things. Which is what I wanted. They seemed like they wanted to tear down everything. Not sure why I got such hard pushback on that. Because it seemed pretty obviously true from what I saw from them.

It's why I pretty quickly moved from supporting Trump, to being critical, to being against Trump (generally). The people who are still supporting him they are either brainwashed by propaganda, or they want to see everything burn down. And to me both of those are as bad as the other.

A few weeks ago some Israeli spokesman said that after Iran, Turkey is the largest threat to Israel, now, Turkey is in NATO.

I believe that the main conflict between Israel and Turkey comes from their clashing goals in the Levant, mainly in Syria, both nations have been gobbling up small pieces of Syria for years now and have both at different times supported different rebel groups, from Jihadists to the Kurds, adding to that you have Erdogan, the watermelon seller, and his Neo-Ottoman larping, wishing for Turkey to become a regional and influential power in the Mediterranean, mainly in the Islamic parts, so, occasionally he shit talks Israel and preaches Muslim solidarity in the face of Israeli aggression.
