Apparently they do intend to do so, the Asian chick who's hosting (?) the dinner was up at the lectern a few minutes ago saying they were going to resume, guests are still milling around the room, having drinks, etc.

Figures the one time Trump actually shows up for this dick-sucking festival, they slack off on security and let "protesters" in.

Then he gets up for his speech. The doors are now locked.

I've been watching CNN vamping while waiting for information (my boomer dad has it on). Wolf Blitzer was very close to the shooter and ended up on the ground with law enforcement officers protecting him! At one point he lost a shoe but was able to get it back.

This is far more interesting than watching journos eat salad.

Kristen Holmes saying the president wants to come back but not sure whether secret service will let him.

Bring out a disheveled and enhanced interrogated Keith Olberman to announce that he had been part of a conspiracy to overthrow the Republic and proceed to have him name every journoscum in the room and answer yes or no whether they were apart of it (the answer is universally yes).
