Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

It was during Trump's first term so about 4 years ago. He walked back from it I'm guessing after realizing that his actual base agrees with trump on most things and he realized he'd been wound up by his liberal inner circle.

Taken in isolation, I'd completely give that point to NBC; its very unlikely the dinner would be held there.

However, given it is from NBC and they wound up a guy to the point he tried to kill Trump and as many admin members as possible (which was zero) i think maybe letting off the gas on the "everything trump says is an intentional lie to ruin america" train would be the right move.

Honest question: why wouldn't the correspondents' dinner take place in the ballroom after completion? These are the exact kinds of events it was proposed for, and this incident was able to happen partially because these events are still occurring outside of the WH premises.
