I am a leftist and I socialize with many other leftist people, young and old. It is unfortunate that women of all ages have been psyopped into trans rhetoric. Trans rights (and wokeism in general) have completely pushed out feminism in leftism that one could easily suspect this was intentional by bad actors. Ironically the people who seem to notice this the most are the more classically-orientated older gay men, who usually have an intellectual background and can see the consequences and dangers of wokeism.
It is no secret that worldwide women face many hardships and inequalities men don't face, even in America. Chances are you probably know a woman who was sexually assaulted. Domestic violence is also still a huge problem here. Single moms who bust their asses off trying to raise children alone after domestic violence or death of the father still get paid less than a man with the same position. These are just common problems women face in the west alone, outside of the west, newborn girls to elderly women are killed precisely because they are women, not to mention genital mutilation and lack of autonomy in life like freedom of movement or the right to an education. All of these claims have hard data to back them up because of the tireless unforgiving work of organizations who one day see a world where men and women can live together in peace, as God intended.
Trans rights allow men, the oppressor, to basically dress up as a woman and claim these oppression as well, all the while demanding for your own protections and rights like to be able to use women's bathrooms.
Do you think a woman who was raped by her uncle would want to see a man cosplaying as a woman walk into a women's bathroom?

I could keep going with issues like healthcare (a man will NEVER be a mother) but it is extremely disheartening that over a hundred years of work in the women's rights movement has been fucked over by men again. Men who have mental health problems that give rise to sexual dysfunction and thus wanting to be come a woman. I don't think many trans-women care about women's rights. I also think many would rather see women occupy an oppressed and subservient role in society, and treat their transgenderism as a fulfillment for their fucked up fetishes. These people need mental help and the longer we pump them with HRT and gender-affirmations the less and less of a chance we have at rehabilitation.
I apologize for the MATI but this is something I have thought about a lot for many years. I grew up poor in a place that is blatantly exploited by corporations with no consequences and have seen the economic and environmental damages inflicted upon my community. I recognize that change can only happen when we all have the opportunity for a seat at the table, no matter your gender, race, or religion. Unfortunately transgenderism is antithetical to this. Instead of fighting for the identity you were born with, and thus have no control over, trannies co-opt one of those identities (womanhood) and corrupt it into their own. If you are a man, you will never know what it is like to be a woman. You will never know what it's like to have a period, be pregnant for nine months, or to grow up in this world where for the majority of human history you were seen as a second-class citizen. No amount of HRT will change this. You can fight for the equality of women as a man, but you cannot claim to share their struggles. You will never be oppressed the same as a woman because at the end of the day, everyone knows you're a man under that makeup.
I've met many trans-women and all of them are crazy. There is one I still socialize with semi-regularly who is batshit insane but (paradoxically) antiwoke and interesting enough that you can hold a nice conversation with them.
The only trans people I've seen as "passing" are trans-men. I've known trans-men for months without realizing, and more often than not I need to be told that they were born a woman. I've also never had a problem with them and have never heard drama. They really are just dudes who like trucks, fishing, drinking beer and all that. It's surprising how drastic an effect testosterone has on the female body compared to estrogen on the male body. I wonder why there is such a discrepancy between trans-men and trans-women in their behavior.
Anyways, sorry for thread derailment, those are just my thoughts. I just can't take the fact that the people who claim to be fighting for universal equality are shooting themselves in the foot here. I don't think trans people should be shot or dehumanized, I think they just need help (ideally with early intervention) and rehabilitation, the same you would treat any mental illness.
