Gives me a chance to post about the weird postings I’ve seen about incel or just trad larpers posting about wanting a 14 year old wife because pure and innocent and sweet. Besides it obviously being disgusting like nigger, don’t you remember being that age? 14 year olds are mean little shitheads.
But Josh has been on the record (in the pragmata rants even) of not wanting the government to ban loli content. I guess the response to that could be “but obviously he is adding fuel to the fire to people who want government imposed censorship!” But that means we can’t criticize people sexualizing children (and games which obv invite them to?)

I think the comparisons to troons are very apt. And everyone knows you have to stamp Troons out at the first sight of them or they’ll flourish and take over.
Yes, ppl in places like asmongold’s community and KIA subreddit are embracing pragmata precisely because they know some people don’t like it and lolicons are hiding among their ranks. They use all the same arguments lolicons use btw “I just see a child, maybe you’re the pedo.”
Even a good friend of mine who is usually wise to lolicon stuff is playing pretend over this game because knee jerk Gamer Pride.
As an aside, whenever I see children depicted in Japanese games meant to be cute I find the depictions cloying and hamfisted. The Diana crayon picture everyone posts makes me roll my eyes.
All of the Japanese women I’ve talked to about this stuff have been disgusted by all of the sex stuff in their culture, even stuff that seemed relatively innocuous to me like “piano bars”. The Sailor Moon mangaka is famous for asking people not to make porn of her manga. So much for le based fun Japanese women.
