Is Karl trying to mislead the court?
Karl is requesting the court allow him to file electronical rather than by post as it is expensive and slow to do it from Australia.
However, it is interesting what he wrote referencing case law.

What is interesting is that I found the case law that he cited.
Karl removed part of the quote (Shown in red) and replaced it with ...
"At a minimum, this would include both financial and
physical barriers that make it extraordinarily difficult to acquire postage and submit envelopes to a mail carrier, and to otherwise deliver papers to the court."
Even people in jail who represent themselves are required to post to the court as they still have access to postage stamps. So unless Karl can convince the court Australia has run out of postage stamps I can't see how this will get granted.
I think Karl thinks the judge is a dumb ass and would not check the case law before making a ruling.
