I have a very sneaking suspicion about this. My theory is that whoever at YouTube that is aware of this decision is of the opinion that if they were to reverse these strikes that it would be admitting to fucking up on YouTube's end, and potentially put them in the pot for some litigation, which wouldn't be an issue financially but more so so due to discovery. So the cheaper option for them is to just ignore it, they probably figure Ham Planet can be a total piece of shit with a total piece of shit contact working on his orders at YouTube because the fallout from that is less disastrous than the fallout from admitting a mistake.
